Can i get wireless from my Router and Modem on my Laptop without my Desktop?
Going to be giving my Desktop away and don’t want to buy a WIFI card.
Any tutorials?
I’ll be using Linux.

Without a wireless adapter, wireless internet transfer is impossible.
if you laptop is equipped with a wireless adapter you should have no problems, though it is highly advised that you find the specific linux drives for the adapter in your laptop prior to switching over… Don’t forget you can still use an ethernet cable directly from the modem or router if you need internet access and the wireless isn’t up yet.
Routers and Modems do not require a PC to run. They control themselves.
