linksys router configuring
Configuring my linksys router? HELP!!?
I need to configure/set up my linksys router, model WRT54GS V7. I’m at “http://192.168.1.1/” currently, where I can set it up, but whenever I click “Save Settings”, it takes me to an error page stating: “Safari can’t open the page “http://192.168.1.1/Basic.tri” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again.”
This has happened over and over again, and I’m not quite sure what to do here. I think I may have hit a dead end, unfortunately. We have no coverage/warrantee on the router, so phone support is basically useless as they refuse to help me without the warrantee.
Any help??? Greatly appreciated.
first, safari is the worst browser presently.. try something else…
second, what os? if it’s mac, are you sure the router you have is compatible w/ mac? if it’s not, why use safari?
